Welcome to Dora Espinoza Fine Art (DEFA), where connections are forged between artists and collectors, locally and internationally. Our mission has been to encourage cross-cultural dialogue and to offer a dynamic environment in which art can be experienced, appreciated, and shared.

Founded in 1988, DEFA established itself early on as a platform for Latin American Contemporary artists whose work demonstrates strong conceptual vision and cultural richness.

Over the years, while continuing to represent Latin-American artists, DEFA has also supported and promoted New York City emerging artists. Working in diverse media and cultural perspectives, embody the creative energy and experimental spirit that define the city’s vibrant art scene. This approach reflects our commitment and provides a platform where artists can develop their vision and connect with collectors and audiences, locally and internationally.
